[Protracker tips]
/* Quick tempo settings /*
Protracker and PT2-Clone default to 125 BPM which suits most people for non genre specific stuff. But if you want to set the BPM for specific genres you can use these for quick reference via the [F] command. Typically used on the first row of the first pattern of a module.
F3C = 60 BPM Hip-Hop F64 = 100 BPM Hip-Hop FAA = 120 BPM House/Techno/Trance F8C = 140 BPM Dubstep FAO = 160 BPM Jungle FAA = 170 BPM Drum and Bass
Obviously there are variations but the above BPMs are the most popular. I'm also assuming that you have left the timing and speed settings at the default values in the settings of your Protracker/clone config.

/* Fade volume up or down when using the [4] Vibrato command. */
When using Vibrato on a looped sample you can fade the volume up or down smoothly using the [6] command.

/* Playing notes at the same volume level as the last note played */
To play notes without setting the volume (which will cause audible volume
jumps) can be acheived by removing the sample number. Protracker will remember
the last sample played and trigger the new note at the same volume.
